The Prodigal Quiggy

After adventures involving things of the computer trouble-related, I have indeed returned. The problem with my computer turned out to be a bit of burning on the motherboard. So for about $150, Dad bought a new motherboard and installed it. He then installed Windows XP Professional on the computer, and now it's back up and running.

Of course, life isn't that simple. In the process, I lost my registry, though not my hard disk, so I still have all of my files, but none of my programs work. As of right now, I haven't installed many, but I have installed the most important ones: Firefox, OpenOffice, Gaim, and iTunes. So I'll slowly be returning to the Quiggy that you're used to.

Peace out.
